John Moore (Brand Autopsy) is finally podcasting. As a thought leader and HIA(human information aggregator), he should be podcasting. As a marketing practitioner and solopreneur, he should be podcasting. Because technology makes it so easy nowadays, he should be podcasting.

The trouble is, as he states, "I’m apprehensive in doing more AudioBlogging. Why? Cuz I’m goofy."

Yes, he’s goofy. Michele Miller’s video is a bit goofy. Being goofy doesn’t make you less credible, it makes you human. Being animated (a la Tom Peters) doesn’t make you less credible, it makes you human. Being vulnerable doesn’t make you less credible, it makes you human.

Yes, for most of us, being human pushes the egde of our comfort zone. Go ahead and push. Edgy is attractive. Humanity is attractive. Being real is attractive.

You may turn people off. You may piss people off. Go ahead. Piss’em off.

"Creating passionate users is NOT about finding ways to make everyone like you. It’s about finding ways to use your own passion to inspire passion in others, and anything with that much power is bound to piss off plenty of status-quo/who-moved-my-cheese people. Bring it on." Kathy Sierra

Show up. Do you. Have fun. Or go home.

And go tell John how much you like his goofiness.
