Allen Hunkin didn’t like my review of his service for podcasters. Here’s his comment:
"Michael… I really don’t appreciate your comment in your summary of our
interview together…. your "wait and see" comment implys that we have yet to
deliver on something."In fact our company has delivered a lot
already:
– a 51 Channel website with over 1600 hours of content on
it
– over 80 hosts/podcasters on board
– the most complete back office for
podcasts available today."What we are working on now is cosmetically
appealing website with some RSS feeds in it… no big deal in today’s
universe."Having been in the internet broadcasting field for over 8
years, surviving the all the meltdowns, we really deserve more than a "wait and
see" comment from someone who has done a couple of podcasts and a very light
website in terms of content."Having been in the self help field for a
number of years I try not to spend much time around ‘undoer’ energy. I guess I
should have investigated further before providing you with an interview."
I’m not here to tear anyone down or "undo" anything people have done. What I’m here to do is provide information and opinion to solopreneurs. Of course, my opionions may be way off base.
My opinion of Allen’s site is it’s a "wait and see." The site, in my opinion, needs some upgrades. Allen has acknowledged that and has stated those upgrades are in-process and should be completed within 30-45 days.
Now I’m curious what other people think?
