Love your blog on where tech businesses started! I’ve just written a blog this morning, posted on my website, on the subject of Standing in Your Own Truth …..I come across quite a few ‘2 blokes in a bedroom’ type of businesses who are trying to pretend they are major corporations ….. stand in your own truth ….some of the greatest brands today started in a dorm ….and your excellent blog supports this
Thanks
I love Dropbox’ story. Houston just got frustrated about forgetting his USB and instead of complaining about it for hours, he started creating a program to solve his own problem.
I love the lesson there. Successful entrepreneurs act instead of just thinking about doing things. I love how campuses in the US push student to be this proactive. It’s missing in France. I never felt like we were ever encouraged to create anything big.
These stories are truly inspirational. In a television channel, i had seen how Mark Zuckerberg had first created Facemash and then Facebook. But, here i was even more amazed to know that dropbox was created when Houston forgot the pen drive. Thanks for sharing this interesting post.

Everybody start in house or garage. It’s normal. Nobody was billionaire or great businessman before they start earning money.
Exactly Martin. It’s very easy to lose sight of especially when we see people’s results while looking at our progress.
