Do Your Customers Love Your Product This Much?

Here’s an example of customer evangelism that most companies could only wish for. Apple of course has legions of people who are just as much fans of the products as they are customers.

Mac, you’re beautiful.

  1. Oh dear.

She actually looks genuinely upset. That 24″ monitor is pretty immense though.

Apple’s brand is that strong that for someone to do this off their own back wouldn’t be a surprise. My guess is that it’s some cunning viral marketing by Apple. I mean they’ve got you circulating it for them Yaro. No small feat.

  2. Maybe if they decide to get her to do another ‘gig’…

She could be useful for Mac to target women and people who feel a platonic (I hope not physical) connection with their computer. Looks like they’ve done a pretty good job of it so far though.

  3. Well, sponsored by Apple or not, it’s sweet. And the girl can sing!
I suppose each brand has its fans and foes. If the gig was not sponsored by apple, they should really do something about it. I guess sending her a free monitor would do. 🙂

  4. I figured out what happened…. silly proxy servers blocking pieces of web pages!

I think that is an awesome video. It helps that the girl can sing too!

  5. That’s fabulous 🙂

I think it’s genuine too. I had a look at her site, http://www.happyslip.com and she mentions in her latest blog post that she may have got the monitor size wrong – it’s probably a 30″, not 24″! And it looks like she got the idea from a video she posted on her blog called “Crackberry” – made by a guy addicted to his Blackberry 🙂 …in that post she mentions how attached she is to her Mac Powerbook.

Her name is Christine, and she’s got scores of fans. If it’s genuine I hope Apple do acknowledge her 🙂

  6. Love the Apple although they are one of the worst companies when it comes to the environment. Maybe they’ll go green one day??
