Yes, you’ve probably heard of podcasting. But have you heard of screencasting? Yet another way to feed your network. Here’s my first experiment with screencasting: How to Keep the Same First Entry on Your Typepad Blog.

More on screencasting … according to Wikipedia, a screencast is:

"a recording of computer screen output, usually containing audio narration typically published as a video file …

"Screencasts are typically created to produce software and web
application demonstrations. This was mostly done within corporations as
a way to facilitate employee training. However, further interest has
been sparked through the increased blogging trend, which has eased
content publishing. The term was coined by columnist Jon Udell
in 2004 in an article he wrote describing the benefits of using the
technique as a way to show other users applications he found
interesting."

As more and more people share their knowledge/skills/wisdom via blogs, podcasts, screencasts, etc., people will get smarter faster.
