Thanks for all the great discussion on naming my company.
To continue the discussion, here’s my reasoning behind two names that I like most so far.
nimbol – a misspelling of "nimble," which means:
- Quick, light, or agile in movement or action; clever, and acute in devising or understanding.
To me, this is the essence of a savvy solopreneur. The misspelling? Well, what can I say except that nimble.com is taken. And besides, there’s something interesting to me about walking outside the lines.
quicksotic – a misspelling of quixotic, which means:
- Caught up in the romance of noble deeds and the pursuit of unreachable goals; idealistic without regard to practicality.
The "quick" part of the word aligns with the "nimble" explanation above. As far as the definition of quixotic, you probably see it as a negative, but frankly, it defines a big part of my personality (for better or worse).
