So you’re standing in line at the supermarket. Behind you is a guy wearing a name tag – the kind we all wear at a seminar or conference so everyone knows everyone else’s name. The tag reads "HELLO, my name is Scott."

If you’re in a particularly surly mood, perhaps you think to yourself, "that nerd should have taken his name tag off after the conference." Or if you’re in a good mood, you smile, say hello and inquire about the tag.

Welcome to a day in the life of Scott Ginsberg, who’s been wearing a name tag every day since November 2, 2000. A pretty brilliant shtick if you ask me, especially if your area of expertise is how to help people be unforgettable communicators. I met Scott yesterday when he mentioned a piece I wrote about charisma. Scott’s stuff is really good so be sure to check it out.

Thanks Scott!
